Primate-One

PRIMATE-ONE is a comprehensive program of non-human primate (NHP) serology assays for the detection of antibodies to B-Virus; Measles; Simian Retrovirus (SRV); Simian Immunodeficiency virus (SIV); Simian T-Lymphotropic Virus (STLV) in simian serum and for the detection of malaria antigens in whole blood.

PRIMATE-ONE allows the end-user to tailor a program to fit a facility's screening needs.

PRIMATE-ONE consists of three product groups:

• PRIMATE-ONE ELISAis a traditional ELISA assay performed at room temperature in under 70 minutes.  ThePRIMATE-ONE ELISAallows for high volume testing on a single analyte.
• SIMIAN-SPOT (SimianPanelTest) is a simple, easy-to-use, multiple analyte assay.  The SPOT test will give simultaneous results to 5 discreet markers in 70-minutes without the need for any specialized equipment. The reacted strips can be stored as a permanent record.
• SIMIAN-STX (SimianTestingeXpress) is a rapid, lateral-flow assay designed to give a single, discreet answer without the need for any equipment.
  

Caveats:

All PRIMATE-ONE assays are designed for research use only.  These assays are not for use on human sera and are for simians over 6-months of age.

PRIMATE-ONE kits does not contain any component, product, or by-product from any species protected by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES).
